Owner-verified facts
Hours, contacts, amenities and action links that an authorized representative can correct.
Methodology
EthosPlaces separates facts a business can verify from evidence supplied by platforms and conclusions derived from reviews. Paying for visibility never changes an organic rating or finding.
Hours, contacts, amenities and action links that an authorized representative can correct.
Information observed on a linked platform, labelled with its source and observation date.
Review-backed strengths, caveats, trends and disagreements. Owners may respond, but cannot rewrite the evidence.
Commercial placement, when introduced, must be labelled and must not alter organic ratings, findings or indexing eligibility.
Platform ratings are normalized to a five-point scale and weighted by the number of reviews represented on each linked platform. We show the underlying platform values instead of hiding disagreement inside one average.
The trust meter measures evidence volume on a logarithmic scale. It does not certify quality and it does not turn a popular place into the right place for every situation.
Review-derived findings are displayed only when the supplied analysis identifies the supporting review count and meets the minimum evidence and confidence thresholds. Every analysis retains its production date and reviewed-through date.
A canonical place may be published once its identity, location, source rights and entity resolution are safe. Optional information such as a description, contact details or ratings does not block publication.
Search indexing is stricter. A page needs a ready publication assessment, at least 40% signal coverage, and either profile verification or supported source evidence checked within the last year. Location and category pages remain out of search indexes until they contain at least three eligible places.
Pages below those thresholds may remain available for correction or owner review, but carry a noindex directive and are excluded from the XML sitemap.
